This role supports a fully remote work environment, allowing mental health counselors to provide therapy through online platforms. Our outpatient services cater to a wide array of needs, offering the flexibility to address individual, couples, and group therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for clients during preliminary interviews, ensuring accurate documentation and case management from initial consultation to treatment conclusion.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of mental, behavioral, and emotional health, tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to foster healing and personal growth.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adapting intervention strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate care and enhance client recovery.
• Provide follow-up care for clients admitted to hospitals, maintaining communication with attending physicians for continuity in treatment.
• Identify and address behavioral barriers to recovery, equipping clients and their families with tools and resources for effective management.
• Engage with families and primary caregivers, educating them on strategies to support mental health improvement.

At North Oasis, our counselors work with a diverse client base, including individuals of varying ages and backgrounds facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The counselor's role is critical in fostering an inclusive and supportive space where every client feels valued and heard.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong foundation in ethical practices and confidentiality protocols, with an understanding of diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues alike.

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, notably AVATAR, to ensure digital documentation and maintain organized client records.
• Experience in addressing and managing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) standards and best practices.
• In-depth understanding of medication management and the implications of prescribed drugs on mental health.
• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a genuine desire to support clients in their recovery journeys.

The salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, with the addition of a sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
