Full-time

Job description

About Us

Dutch Vet is transforming veterinary care by making expert treatment accessible anytime, anywhere. Our mission is simple: help every pet live their happiest, healthiest life by connecting pet parents with licensed vets through seamless virtual visits.

We’re the only veterinary telemedicine service that can diagnose, prescribe, and ship medications directly to customers in most states. For less than $100 per year, Dutch offers real relief and convenience for pets and their families.

As one customer put it: “Dutch was the only site that would diagnose and prescribe meds as well as ship the meds.”

Here’s what other customers have said about Dutch Vet:

"The easiest vet visit you'll ever have.”

"More thorough than my in-person vet.”

"No nonsense, quick, easy and friendly veterinarian. Much cheaper than our regular local vet that couldn’t get us in. So glad I found Dutch!"

Backed by world-class investors including Forerunner Ventures, Eclipse Ventures, and Bling Capital, our team is made-up of successful startup founders (Hims, PlushCare, Nasty Gal) with expertise in scaling enterprises (TripAdvisor, Walmart, BARK). Featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, Wired, and Axios, Dutch is setting the standard for quality, accessibility, and compassion in pet care.

The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to build and scale Dutch’s social presence into a high-impact growth and brand channel.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to create content that captures attention, drives engagement, shares, views, and converts balancing storytelling with performance. You’ll work closely with Growth, Brand, PR, and Content to develop a social media plan and content calendar that drives awareness, builds trust, and contributes to member growth and CAC efficiency.

Please note this is a fully remote role, but you must reside in Canada OR any of the following states: Tennessee, California, Illinois, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Washington.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own and execute Dutch’s social strategy across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms

  • Create and publish high-performing content (short-form video, static, reactive, and trend-based)

  • Partner with Creative and Content teams to develop scroll-stopping, on-brand assets

  • Manage content calendar aligned to campaigns, launches, and cultural moments

  • Drive engagement through community management (comments, DMs, conversations)

  • Identify trends, memes, and cultural moments to create timely, relevant content

  • Collaborate with Growth to test paid amplification, whitelisting, and creator content

  • Work with PR and Partnerships on influencer and celebrity integrations

  • Analyze performance, create reports, and optimize based on engagement, reach, shares, SOV, and conversion signals

  • Support lifecycle and cross-channel content (email, SMS, landing pages) as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 3–6 years of experience managing and growing social media for a brand

  • Proven ability to create content that drives engagement, growth, and subscriptions

  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video trends

  • Strong creative instincts with an eye for what performs vs. what looks good

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Growth, Creative, Product, and PR teams

  • Data-driven mindset comfortable using insights to iterate quickly

  • Ability to move fast, test, learn, and adapt in a high-growth environment

  • Willingness to take chances, disrupt and try new things

  • Strong project management and analytic skills

  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to tone and brand voice

Nice To Haves
  • Experience in consumer, health, pet, or subscription businesses

  • Experience with influencer/creator partnerships and whitelisting

  • Familiarity with performance marketing and paid social

  • Experience launching or scaling a brand’s social presence

WHY THIS ROLE IS AWESOME:
  • You’ll build and scale Dutch Vet’s social presence

  • Your work will directly impact brand awareness, engagement, and acquisition

  • You’ll operate at the intersection of brand, performance, and culture

  • You’ll help define how pet care shows up in modern media

  • The chance to make a meaningful impact on pets (and their people)

  • You’ll make trusted veterinary care more accessible to millions of pet parents

WHY WORK FOR DUTCH?
