• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses, needs, and presenting issues, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that identify specific goals, interventions, and expected outcomes, with a focus on evidence-based methodologies.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and substance abuse disorders.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support, shared experiences, and collaborative learning among clients facing similar challenges.
• Respond proactively to crisis situations with clients, offering immediate interventions and safety planning to ensure their well-being.
• Document therapy sessions in a meticulous manner, maintaining accurate client records and coordinating with other healthcare providers as necessary to optimize treatment.
• Uphold the standards of professional ethics, guaranteeing client confidentiality and maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries at all times.

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada, with successful completion of required examinations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for building rapport with clients and conveying vital information clearly.
• A strong ability to understand and respect cultural diversity, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and improving outcomes.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct practice experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on teletherapy preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client records and documentation.
• Experience in community health settings or similar environments is a plus.
