Capstone Mind Wellness & Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Remote School-Based Therapy Specialist. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to identify their mental health concerns, strengths, capabilities, and resources.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques through individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique environments of schools.
• Facilitate the development of individualized treatment plans that clearly outline treatment goals and interventions, ensuring they are aligned with the specific needs of the client.
• Engage in collaborative care by coordinating with school personnel, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to ensure that mental health support integrates seamlessly into the educational setting.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans tailored to students experiencing acute emotional distress or trauma.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and school-specific standards.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes within school settings, addressing topics such as anxiety management, conflict resolution, and social skills development.

You will serve a diverse client base, primarily comprising students from various backgrounds, including those coping with depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role as a clinical social worker will be crucial in facilitating emotional resilience and personal growth through tailored therapeutic approaches.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills to effectively connect with students, parents, and school staff.

• Previous experience providing mental health services within educational settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant mental health documentation software.
• Specialized training or certifications in trauma-informed care or child and adolescent mental health.
