As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Urban Arc, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments that identify the emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting students and their families.
• Developing, implementing, and continually refining treatment plans that utilize appropriate social work interventions to meet the evolving needs of patients.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, school counselors, and healthcare professionals throughout the treatment process to create a well-rounded support system for each student.
• Facilitating discharge planning and coordination with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers and community resources, to ensure students have access to continued support post-treatment.
• Providing education and counseling to families about coping strategies and adaptations related to their child’s situation, illness, or diagnosis.
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities including crisis intervention, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Participating in on-call rotations to address after-hours inquiries or emergent situations involving students.
• Delivering presentations and resources for educational conferences and community outreach initiatives focused on mental health awareness and support services.
• Engaging in volunteer opportunities and community education programs to enhance local support systems for families dealing with mental health challenges.

Your role as a Social Worker will focus primarily on children, adolescents, and their families, particularly those facing mental health challenges, academic pressures, or transitions in life situations. By establishing trusted relationships with your clients, you will play a crucial part in helping them develop the resilience necessary to navigate their circumstances successfully.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Current and valid Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois is required.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly with school-aged children or adolescents, is preferred.

Successful candidates will ideally have:

• Experience in providing social work services within educational settings, particularly in remote or hybrid learning environments.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
