Scheduling Specialist
The Opportunity:
Program scheduling is critical to keeping our customer delivery within specified timelines and budgetary constraints. The answer is a scheduling specialist like you who will build and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) facilitating the achievement of quality products and performance at minimal risk to the overall program. As Scheduling Specialist on our team, you'll use your experience to lead customer support teams to develop IMSs and monitor execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. You'll perform schedule and cost risk analysis to determine a probabilistic schedule and cost at project completion. You'll work with other team members to manage and support multiple projects and program schedules to effectively communicate to all levels within the portfolio, from project teams to upper management. You'll interface with the client and vendors on scheduling issues relevant to the assigned program and prepare and present briefings on schedule status and health to varying levels of management. You'll conduct schedule resource loading, schedule risk analysis, and the establishment of project management processes. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience developing, managing, and integrating large project schedules and performing critical path analysis using MS Project or SmartSheet
  • Experience with risk management, including identification, quantification, analysis, and controlling and monitoring
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts and various stakeholders to design and implement a Schedule Management Plan (SMP)
  • Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations
  • Ability to track, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience consulting for the federal government, the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), or FEDSIM programs
  • Experience performing schedule risk assessments (SRA) and enterprise risk assessments
  • Experience leading teams performing assessments of schedules and other project control data and communicating priority findings to clients
  • Possession of excellent organizational, task, and time management skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
