Job description

Position Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic team at Renewed Perspectives Counseling Center. In this full-time remote role, you will provide vital mental health counseling services to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, working in a supportive environment that champions well-being for both therapists and their clients.

About the Organization

At Renewed Perspectives Counseling Center, we are a forward-thinking community health clinic located in Edison, New Jersey, committed to enhancing the mental health landscape through exceptional service delivery. Our organization focuses on delivering accessible and effective therapy solutions to clients across various demographics, helping them navigate and overcome their personal struggles. Our dedicated team of licensed mental health professionals works collaboratively to create a more supportive community, ensuring our clients receive high-quality care tailored to their needs.

Work Environment

This position offers the unique advantage of fully remote work, allowing you to provide therapy services from any location of your choice. Our adaptable work setting ensures that you have the flexibility to manage your hours, whether during traditional office hours, evenings, or weekends. You'll join a strong network of professionals who prioritize a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to focus on delivering the best mental health care possible without the usual administrative burdens faced in typical clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring clients receive the most effective care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation while adhering to confidentiality regulations and standards.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to address mental health issues, providing support and coping strategies during sessions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated treatment approaches that encompass holistic care for clients.
  • Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and maintain licensure requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base consists of individuals, including adolescents and adults, who seek support for a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and guiding clients towards healthier coping mechanisms. Given that many sessions are funded by educational institutions, you will have the unique opportunity to focus more on therapeutic outcomes rather than administrative work.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Current and active licensure in the state of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A clean disciplinary record with any licensing board in any jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting intake assessments and drafting comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Proficient writing and documentation skills for session notes and progress reports.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy, particularly to adult populations.
  • Experience in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), for effective treatment delivery.
  • Familiarity with client management systems and electronic health records (EHR) to streamline documentation processes.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust compensation structure, our therapists are eligible for a sign-on bonus with their first client. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a health insurance stipend, professional development assistance, and participation in a referral program. You will also enjoy the freedom to set your schedule and choose your hours, further facilitating a rewarding work-life balance.

Career Growth Opportunities

Renewed Perspectives Counseling Center is dedicated to fostering the professional development of our staff. We provide resources and support for professional growth, including access to workshops, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities. As a member of our team, you can expect to evolve within a supportive framework that values continuous learning and advancement in the mental health field.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Renewed Perspectives Counseling Center means becoming part of a mission-driven organization committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We pride ourselves on the culture of mutual support we maintain within our team, ensuring our therapists have the time and resources needed to engage fully with clients. Experience the satisfaction of focusing on what you do best—delivering transformative therapy—without the stresses commonly associated with traditional practice settings.

Application Information

If you are a licensed mental health therapist eager to take the next step in your career and positively impact the lives of others, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your experience and why you would be a great fit for our team at Renewed Perspectives Counseling Center. We look forward to hearing from you!
