Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Lee Neville Tax, LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Administrative Assistant to support our tax preparation and client service teams.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring client information is accurately received, organized, processed, and routed through our workflow systems. The ideal candidate enjoys working with technology, managing details, assisting clients, and helping maintain efficient office operations.

Position Responsibilities

Client Service & Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding administrative and document requests.
  • Assist clients with accessing and using the client portal.
  • Communicate with clients regarding missing information and document requests.
  • Schedule client meetings and appointments.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
  • Maintain professional and courteous client communications.

Data Entry & Document Management

  • Enter and verify client information within firm software systems.
  • Upload, organize, and manage client documents.
  • Review submitted documents for completeness.
  • Maintain accurate electronic client files.
  • Scan, import, and process tax-related documents.
  • Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Workflow & Operations Support

  • Track return status and workflow progress within firm systems.
  • Assist with routing projects and assignments.
  • Monitor deadlines and follow-up requirements.
  • Support tax preparers with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain internal tracking reports and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with seasonal workflow coordination.

Administrative Duties

  • Prepare client correspondence and engagement documents.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients.
  • Maintain office records and administrative documentation.
  • Support firm leadership with special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
