Remote Scan Data Entry information

What is a Remote Scan Data Entry job?

A Remote Scan Data Entry job involves receiving scanned documents or images and accurately entering the data from these files into digital databases or spreadsheets, all while working from home or another remote location. Employees in this role must ensure the information is transcribed correctly and may also be responsible for reviewing and verifying data for accuracy. Strong attention to detail, computer literacy, and good organizational skills are essential. This job is often found in industries like healthcare, finance, and administration, where large volumes of physical documents need to be digitized.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in Remote Scan Data Entry roles, and how can they be addressed?

In Remote Scan Data Entry positions, one common challenge is maintaining accuracy while processing large volumes of scanned documents, as misinterpretation or data entry errors can impact downstream workflows. Working independently can also make it harder to quickly resolve ambiguities in scanned documents, so clear communication channels with supervisors and colleagues are essential. To address these challenges, professionals should develop strong attention to detail, use standardized procedures for data verification, and leverage collaborative tools to seek clarification when needed. Regular breaks and an organized workspace can also help sustain focus and accuracy throughout the workday.

Job description

Product Manager, New Initiatives

ABOUT US

We simplify complex public records so millions of people can find what they need, fast. We\'re AI-forward, performance-driven, and remote-first — with a global team that moves with the speed and clarity of a company hungry to win. We don\'t manage hours. We build outcomes.

THE ROLE

This isn\'t a research role. You\'re not handing off a report and waiting. You\'re the driver — deciding what to build, sequencing the work, pulling in the right people, and making the call. You\'ll work across entirely new markets and product categories, and you\'ll move fast without losing rigor.

Right now, that means things like evaluating market entry across international geographies, designing lightweight MVPs to validate demand, and delivering a clear go/no-go recommendation backed by real data — not hedged possibilities.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO

  • Take new products and market opportunities from initial idea through validation to a committed go/no-go recommendation.
  • Design and sequence MVP tests — deciding what\'s worth building, how to build it lean, and what to cut.
  • Determine what to handle yourself and what to delegate. Pull in dev, design, and ops as collaborators, not order-takers.
  • Define the metrics upfront. Know exactly what a result needs to show to justify a full build — or to stop.
  • Identify the hardest obstacle in each initiative and find a credible path through it, not around it.
  • Communicate clearly: data-backed updates, early flags, no spin.

WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You\'ve launched or tested something new — a product, a market, a line of business — and owned the outcome.
  • You think in sequences: what needs to happen first, what can run in parallel, what\'s a trap.
  • You know when to build something yourself and when to bring in the right person. You don\'t let either become an excuse.
  • AI-native. You use it constantly, across every type of work — research, synthesis, scoping, communication. Not optional.
  • You write and communicate with precision. Your updates don\'t require translation.
  • You\'ve worked in a fast-moving, outcomes-driven environment and thrived — not survived.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary range $160,000- $180,000 annually
  • Fully remote with quarterly team meetups in Las Vegas
  • Unlimited PTO — no hour tracking, no performance theater
  • $25,000 EV credit + home solar panels
  • A team that moves fast, decides with data, and doesn\'t confuse activity with progress
