Job description

Join Vacatia and Build the AI Foundation Powering the Future of Hospitality

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) or Remote (US)

Vacatia is a vacation ownership company with 460K owners across 11K units. It's an industry that hasn't been seriously modernized in decades, and we're rebuilding it with AI at the core. Were looking for a highly technical and execution-driven Product Manager who will help architect the reusable AI operating foundation that powers automation, workflows, customer interactions, and operational intelligence across the company.

This is not an AI strategy role. This is a builder role. You will define the systems, workflows, evaluation frameworks, and operational tooling that enable AI to function reliably in production environments. Youll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, operations, and customer experience to ensure AI systems drive measurable business impact.

If you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy turning ambiguity into structured systems, and care deeply about shipping scalable products that actually work in production this is your opportunity to shape the future of AI-enabled hospitality.

Why this role is different

  • Small and senior by design: Five-person team to start. You're not a cog in a 50-person AI org. You report into the AI portfolio senior lead and work alongside our AI Development and Operations leads.
  • Real production stakes: Calls, contracts, payments, and customer outcomes flow through what you build. Not a sandbox.
  • You build the operating model, not inherit one: No legacy AI infrastructure. No vendor we're locked into. The decisions are yours to make.
  • Reach: AI surface area spans CX, collections, owner services, sales support, and internal workflows.

Your Impact

  • Own the roadmap for Vacatias AI operating foundation, including workflow orchestration, routing logic, verification layers, and evaluation tooling.
  • Translate messy operational problems into structured product requirements, workflows, and scalable systems.
  • Define model selection frameworks balancing task fit, quality, latency, and cost.
  • Partner with engineering teams to build scalable AI workflows, integrations, and operational automations.
  • Establish evaluation frameworks, QA systems, observability standards, and performance tracking mechanisms for AI agents and workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement by measuring operational outcomes, identifying regressions, and prioritizing fixes based on business impact.
  • Ensure Vacatia owns the operational logic, requirements, evaluation systems, and improvement loop across all AI initiatives.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in product management with senior-level scope. Technical PM, internal platforms, workflow automation, data products, or AI-enabled systems.
  • Proven experience shipping operational AI products, workflow systems, or automation platforms in production environments.
  • Must be an AI strategists with shipping experience.
  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data pipelines, analytics systems, and operational tooling.
  • Ability to define KPIs, acceptance criteria, evaluation frameworks, and measurable operational outcomes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure ambiguity and solve complex operational problems.
  • Experience with AI agents, LLM workflows, automation systems, or observability tooling strongly preferred.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a strong bias toward execution and iteration.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
