A Remote Satellite Internet technician is a professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting satellite internet systems in remote or rural locations where traditional broadband access may not be available. Their duties include setting up satellite dishes, configuring modems and routers, and ensuring a stable internet connection for customers. They may work for internet service providers or as independent contractors, often traveling to different locations to provide on-site support.
