Job description

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Health Cloud Developer to design, code, debug, test, document, and implement Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, including application customizations and third-party integrations. Working in a Salesforce Government Cloud environment, you will collaborate with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator to support system interfaces, optimize data integration, monitor critical workflows, and implement new business processes.

This is a 100% remote position. All work must be performed strictly from an approved home workspace (work from public, shared, or outside locations is prohibited).

AK, AR, AZ, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI, WY.

What You Will Do
  • Development & Integration: Analyze, design, and develop code for system interfaces and data integration services using Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST). Convert logical designs into efficient program code using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, JavaScript, and Flows.
  • System Optimization: Evaluate and test vendor-supplied software packages, patches, and upgrades. Research application modules, understand underlying business processes, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaboration & Support: Partner with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator to guide system modifications. Serve as a technical resource for entry-level developers and provide escalation support for complex trouble tickets.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans with Lead Developer guidance, conduct unit/system testing, review defect logs, participate in code reviews, and rewrite programs to meet changing requirements.
  • Agile & CI/CD Practices: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, user stories, retrospectives) using tools like Jira, and leverage Salesforce DevOps toolsets and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare system design documents, technical reports, user manuals, and change control documentation.
  • Operational Availability: Perform on-call support duties as needed. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to deploy system changes.
Required Qualifications
  • Citizenship & Security: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (with coursework in programming and database systems), or equivalent practical experience.
  • General Experience: 5+ years of general application development and support experience.
  • Salesforce Health Cloud Experience: 3+ years of direct, hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud development experience. (Note: General Salesforce experience in a healthcare setting without direct Health Cloud development does not qualify).
  • Government Cloud Experience: Hands-on development experience within a Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus environment. (Note: Working for a government agency/contractor without direct hands-on development in Government Cloud does not qualify).
  • DevOps & CI/CD: 3+ years of experience with Salesforce DevOps toolsets and CI/CD processes.
  • Technical Stack: Proficiency with JavaScript, Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOAP, and REST APIs.
  • Domain & Process Experience: Technical experience with healthcare systems or government contract systems; experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of general application development and support experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and/or Platform Developer II.
  • Hands-on experience with the Aura framework, OmniScript, and Einstein Analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
