Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QE Practice Lead with automation experience (nice to have) to join our team as our onshore Practice Lead. This role will drive testing strategy, automation adoption, and quality governance while supporting the consolidation of knowledge and capabilities from incumbent vendors. The Practice Lead will oversee distributed delivery teams, collaborate closely with offshore AccelQ automation specialists, and establish scalable quality practices that improve speed, efficiency, and production stability.

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years experience with hands on salesforce platform extensive testing experience - SalesCloud, DataCloud, and ServicesCloud experience
  • Experience managing offshore team members
  • Strong communication / Client facing exp

Nice to Have:

  • AccelQ subject matter expertise
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or complex integrations.
  • Exposure to other automation tools (Selenium, Tosca, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance testing concepts.
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin / Developer / Architect) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end test QE strategy and execution leveraging AccelQ across Salesforce implementations.
  • Lead the evolution from a QA-centric model to a Quality Engineering practice aligned with enterprise standards and DevOps principles.
  • Define and implement Salesforce QE strategy, processes, metrics, and governance.
  • Establish scalable testing frameworks, standards, and best practices across Salesforce clouds and integrated applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing late-stage defects and rework.
  • Own end-to-end quality delivery for Salesforce programs and releases.
  • Develop risk-based test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
  • Ensure appropriate test coverage across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and future Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to align quality objectives with program goals.
  • Manage and mentor distributed quality engineering teams, including offshore resources.
  • Coordinate work across onshore and offshore teams to ensure delivery quality and schedule adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with offshore AccelQ automation specialists to optimize framework design and automation execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software quality assurance and quality engineering experience.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise testing programs and distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform testing.
  • Experience leading QA-to-QE transformation initiatives.
  • Strong test automation experience with AccelQ.
  • Experience managing offshore delivery teams and coordinating globally distributed resources.
  • Proven experience with vendor transition and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and test automation integration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Good to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or complex integrations.
  • Exposure to other automation tools (Selenium, Tosca, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance testing concepts.
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin / Developer / Architect) are a plus.
