Entry level to Intermediate
Temporary/contract assignment - up to 12 months (contract-to-hire or extension possible)
Onsite: Mon – Fri 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Highly preferred experience with: MDSR (Salesforce application), SAP application and Microsoft Office Suite
Job Summary: We are seeking an entry-to-intermediate Electro-Mechanical Medical Device Technician for a temporary assignment to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and document electromechanical medical devices and subsystems. This role emphasizes hands-on electromechanical work, strong Microsoft Office proficiency, and preferred experience using the MDSR Salesforce application for device safety/case tracking. Strong investigation writing skills needed.
Assignment Objectives
  • Support production and/or validation builds to meet short-term delivery deadlines.
  • Complete accurate build and test records to enable timely release and transfer of work.
  • Provide reliable, well-documented troubleshooting and handover at assignment end.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, wire, and mechanically fit electromechanical components per drawings and instructions.
  • Perform functional testing, verification, and calibration using bench instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies).
  • Log safety events/cases and maintain case status in MDSR Salesforce (preferred).
  • Create and maintain build/test records, deviation reports, and basic data summaries using Microsoft Office.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical/electromechanical faults, document corrective actions.
  • Support first article builds, production runs, or process validation activities as assigned.
  • Follow change control, nonconformance handling, and quality procedures.
  • Provide clear handover documentation and status at assignment completion.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electromechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years hands-on experience in assembly, test, or repair of electromechanical or electronic products; medical device experience preferred.
  • Practical skills: soldering, wiring, crimping, mechanical fastening.
  • Comfortable using multimeter, oscilloscope, and basic bench equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office:
    • Excel: data entry, formulas, PivotTables, charts; basic lookup functions.
    • Word/PowerPoint: preparing technical notes and concise presentations.
    • Outlook/Teams/SharePoint: communication and document control.
  • Strong attention to documentation and ability to follow written procedures.
  • Ability to read basic electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with MDSR Salesforce application.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).
  • IPC soldering/assembly certification (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) a plus.
  • Basic Salesforce/Service Cloud familiarity or admin exposure helpful.
