Interns typically reach out to prospects via email, phone, or social media to generate interest in a company's products or services. The goal is to set up meetings or demonstrations for senior sales staff, helping the business grow its customer base. This internship provides valuable experience in sales, communication, and remote work environments, making it a great starting point for a career in sales.

To thrive as a Remote Sales Development Representative Intern, you need strong communication skills, basic sales knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree or progress toward one in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce, as well as proficiency in email and video conferencing tools, is highly valued. Standout candidates possess resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to build rapport quickly, even in virtual settings.
