We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Accounting Manager who can immediately contribute across core accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and is comfortable operating in partial manual processes while helping to improve them. This position will flex in scope and seniority depending on experience (Sr. Accountant to Manager level), but at its core requires strong execution, ownership, and problem-solving across GL, revenue, and consolidations. This person will also be the primary power user of our accounting systems, primarily Sage Intacct.

What You Will Do:

General Ledger & Close
  • Own and execute key components of the monthly close process
  • Prepare and review journal entries across all accounting areas including payroll, accruals, and fixed assets
  • Perform account reconciliations and flux analysis
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financials in Sage Intacct
  • Complete close reconciliations and activities in Floqast
  • Validate team member task completion in Floqast
Revenue Accounting
  • Support revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606
  • Prepare and review revenue schedules, deferred revenue, and related entries
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy of billing and revenue data
Consolidations & Reporting
  • Assist with multi-entity consolidations, including intercompany eliminations
  • Maintain and improve consolidation processes within Sage Intacct
  • Generate financial statements and supporting reports in Sage Intacct
Systems & Processes
  • Manage areas requiring manual workflows including all GL postings
  • Support Sage Intacct maintenance including creating departments and GL accounts, update mapping tables across related systems and processes, and update key reports in Sage Intacct
  • Help design scalable processes and documentation (SOPs)
  • Recommend and implement improvements where possible
  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to improve data flows
  • Support Floqast close/task checklist maintenance in Floqast
Your Skills and Experience:
  • 5-8+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience working with incomplete or non-integrated systems
  • Deep GL accounting experience
  • Strong ERP proficiency (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Workday Financials, etc.)
  • Experience in SaaS or usage-based revenue models with a working knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606)
  • Experience with consolidations and multi-entity environments
  • Comfort handling manual accounting processes with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of ownership as an individual contributor
  • Exceptional accuracy, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
  • Prior experience at high growth early stage or pre-IPO environments
  • Process improvement or systems implementation experience
  • Exposure to equity accounting and stock compensation
  • Experience with Floqast
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g. Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to design and build custom automations, workflows, or agents for accounting tasks (ex: scripting data reconciliation)
