Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while serving clients from various locations, including Augusta, Georgia. You will interact with clients using our secure telehealth platform, which is designed to facilitate effective remote therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals and groups, utilizing our telehealth platform effectively.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients’ emotional, social, and mental health needs, leading to the development of impactful, personalized treatment plans and intervention strategies.
• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during their most challenging moments.
• Guide clients in accessing essential community resources, social services, and support systems to enhance their overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care strategies that cater to the unique needs of our clients.
• Educate clients about effective coping mechanisms, communication techniques, and self-care practices to empower them in their mental health management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on clinical best practices, particularly in the field of teletherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with primarily include individuals undergoing detoxification and facing emotional, behavioral, or psychosocial difficulties related to substance use and mental health. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their recovery process, providing essential support tailored to their unique circumstances and promoting their journey toward sustainable mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology and platforms to facilitate remote therapy.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients in a remote environment.
• A commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing a virtual caseload.
• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling to accommodate clients across different time zones.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in social work, with a preference for backgrounds related to mental health therapy, substance abuse, or crisis intervention.
• Experience working in a detox or substance abuse environment is particularly valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a variety of benefits including:
