• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to meet the needs of clients.
• Facilitate anger management and coping skills workshops, aiming to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to provide holistic support that addresses complex family dynamics.
• Monitor and document client progress accurately, including the completion of intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, within designated timelines.
• Participate in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for program improvements and client care strategies.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our center, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, families, and adults facing various psychological challenges. The emphasis on family systems therapy means you will not only focus on individual clients but also engage with caretakers and families to improve overall family dynamics and communication.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in California is essential for practice.
• Availability to provide services for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, particularly during the after-school hours of 4-7 PM.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for any in-home therapy sessions.
• Passing a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is a must for all prospective employees.

• Demonstrated experience in positive behavior support and working with youth and families is highly valued.
• Prior experience in community health settings or outpatient clinics is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative care practices with other professionals will enhance your integration within our team.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, we offer:
