• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to clients' needs, including pre-crisis and crisis interventions.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation that meets all regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and interventions, guided by the clinical team, to inform treatment methodologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that address individual client challenges.
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems to facilitate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain effective communication both internally within the organization and externally with community stakeholders to enhance program visibility and effectiveness.
• Foster relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to secure partnerships and funding that support mental health initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings to enhance expertise and represent the agency’s interests.
• Uphold and promote the center's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions and decisions related to client care.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summit Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurological challenges. Your role is crucial in advocating for clients and providing therapeutic support that aligns with their personal recovery journeys.

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health field is essential for this position.
• An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is required to practice.
• Strong capabilities in maintaining clinical records and preparing relevant reports to document patient progress.
• Proficient at working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to achieve holistic client care.
• Excellent communication skills to express concepts and treatment ideas clearly and effectively.
