Job description

Job Title: RPG Developer - IBM iSeries / BPCS ERP Location: Remote (Easton, PA-based project) Duration: 18-24 Months (Contract) Start Date: ASAP USC/GC Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced RPG Developer for an 18-24 month remote contract opportunity supporting and enhancing our enterprise ERP system. This role requires strong expertise in IBM iSeries (AS/400) environments, RPG IV/ILE development, and hands-on experience with BPCS ERP (Infor LX). You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining core business applications while collaborating with business analysts, end-users, and cross-functional IT teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using RPG IV/ILE
  • Write and optimize Embedded SQL queries within RPG programs
  • Provide support, customization, and enhancement of the BPCS ERP (Infor LX) system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within IBM i/AS400 environments
  • Partner with stakeholders and business analysts to gather and define technical requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation in line with development and change control standards
  • Support production systems and participate in upgrade or modernization initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in RPG IV/ILE development
  • Proficient in Embedded SQL within IBM i environments
