Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program, focused on delivering transformative mental health services. This full-time remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact in the lives of students with unique needs.

This remote position allows you to manage your schedule while working collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals. You will interact with educators, therapists, and administrative staff to share knowledge and best practices, contributing to a holistic approach to mental health and education. Your primary work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and some on-call availability as needed.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with varied special needs, utilizing clinical interviewing and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s specific challenges, ensuring alignment with their educational goals.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to promote personal development, emotional stability, and effective coping mechanisms.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address issues related to ASD, learning disabilities, and trauma, adjusting approaches as necessary based on student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring student safety and well-being.
• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health issues and available resources to foster a deeper understanding and better outcomes.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences to share insights, strategies, and progress updates regarding student treatment.
• Stay informed of current laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to mental health and special education.

The students you will support include those struggling with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), varying learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and histories of trauma. By focusing on their specific needs, your work will play a crucial role in their academic achievements and emotional well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in New Jersey.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating targeted treatment plans.
• Ability to facilitate therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound judgment and commitment to ethical practices, with strong crisis intervention capabilities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value passion and a genuine commitment to supporting students with special needs. Additional experience with group therapy and educational collaborations will be advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
