• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings of clients to gather information about their mental health conditions and substance abuse history, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address not only substance abuse concerns but also co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), to foster client engagement.

• Collaborate intimately with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, registered nurses, and case managers to deliver integrated and effective client care.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health and substance abuse, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process and promoting a supportive home environment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, facilitating trackable patient progress and care coordination.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse array of clients facing challenges such as substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health issues. • Possess a current and valid mental health therapy license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required; a master's degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and designing treatment plans within a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies for addressing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with both clients and interdisciplinary team members.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health counseling with significant exposure to addiction treatment is preferred.

• Prior involvement with teletherapy or remote counseling practices is advantageous, enhancing your ability to connect with clients effectively.
