Remote RN school nurses play a crucial role in supporting student health, developing care plans, and responding to health emergencies, often collaborating with families and school staff. This role has become increasingly important as schools adopt remote or hybrid learning environments.

How does a remote RN school nurse typically collaborate with on-site staff to manage student health concerns?

Communication is primarily conducted through video calls, emails, and secure messaging platforms. The remote nurse provides guidance on health protocols, assists with care planning, and may supervise the administration of medications or emergency procedures via virtual support. Building strong relationships with on-site teams is essential to ensure efficient coordination and timely response to student health issues.
