WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Nurse Educator in Consulting Services- Accreditation, you'll be part of an enthusiastic team dedicated to enhancing nursing education professional development that spans all nurse educator core competencies as well as comprehensive assistance supporting client in their national accreditation journey. You'll focus on developing and implementation of faculty development such as item writing and analysis, curriculum mapping, accreditation and program evaluation, and self-study report analysis to improve client success.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This position will have the flexibility to work remotely within the United States with proximity to a major airport for business travel up to 50% of the time.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
  • Create professional presentations and provide domain expert nursing consultation services on curriculum, accreditation, and faculty and program development, staying abreast of emerging trends in nursing education
  • Utilize analytics tools to interpret data trends, ensuring alignment with client goals across the customer lifecycle to achieve complete agreement consulting days
  • Provide guidance and feedback to nursing programs on national accreditation self-study reports and systematic plans of evaluation. Conduct in person accreditation mock visits to support the successful achievement of national accreditation for nursing programs.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis (of nursing market trends and competitors) to identify current topics for professional development presentations
  • Deliver live client webinars and attend nursing education conferences as a domain expert

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Master's degree in nursing, with a current RN license in good standing; Doctorate degree and CNE certification strongly preferred
  • Experience as a national accreditation site visitor for one of the following national accrediting bodies in nursing. (ACEN, CCNE and/or NLN-CNEA). Team Chair experience preferred
  • 8+ years in nursing academia, curriculum, and accreditation
  • 5+ years teaching (curriculum design, accreditation, simulation, NCLEX)
  • 2+ years in academic leadership (program chair/site visitor/committees)
  • 2+ years accreditation and self-study (traditional & competency-based)
  • Nursing content development, SME/Author/Reviewer + ATI experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proficient in technology tools including data management platforms, D365, Gainsight, Microsoft Office and ZOOM
  • Adept at delivering presentations to diverse audiences both in-person and virtual while utilizing PowerPoint and other technologies
  • Passionate about improving nursing education for faculty and programs
  • Ability to organize workflow focused on maximum coverage and achieving optimal client outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of active learning strategies, including simulation in a nursing program
  • Knowledgeable in how to write NCLEX-style items; interpret item analyses; develop test blueprints at the program and course level

HIRING RANGE
The current full-time annualized hiring range for this role is $100,000.00-$143,000.00 and does not include discretionary bonus or sales incentives, if applicable. In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing the expected salary range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, current business needs and local market factors. Most regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an Ascend incentive bonus or sales plan.
