In this community nursing role,asa Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC)Nurse and as working as a part of theParaMednursing health care team the NSWOC will provide and promote evidenced based advanced wound, ostomy and continence assessment, management and care to all patient groups either through a consultative process or by direct care.

Whatyou bring:

  • Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC).

  • InternationalInterprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) may be considered.

  • Canadian Nurses Association Certification -WOCC(C) - an asset

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse ideally in a community setting and/or providing wound/ostomy/continence care to patients (direct care/consultation)

  • Current membership/registration with the Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence Canada (preferred)
