The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate both client needs and therapist availability. You will engage with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists, all working in concert to deliver comprehensive, integrated treatment. Our practice emphasizes a safe and therapeutic environment where clients can explore their challenges and strengths openly.

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories alongside their mental health status.
• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that address not just addiction but also any underlying mental health concerns.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Work closely with other treatment team members, maintaining consistent communication to ensure seamless care for each client as part of an integrated treatment approach.
• Educate and actively involve clients’ family members in the recovery process, helping them understand substance use disorders and the healing path.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with both organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

The primary clientele consists of individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders, many of whom struggle with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related disorders. It is imperative for the therapist to approach each client with empathy and an understanding of the complexities of addiction, tailoring treatment strategies to the unique experiences of each individual. • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in substance abuse counseling, specifically with evidence-based practices for managing addiction and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills that empower clients to work towards and achieve their recovery goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and clients' families.

Experience in an outpatient therapy setting is preferred, particularly within the specialization of addiction treatment. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or family therapy methodologies will be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also enhance workflow efficiency.
