Work EnvironmentThis position is designed to operate in a remote capacity, allowing for flexibility while providing vital support to students who require mental health services. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, taking into consideration each student’s personal history, current concerns, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with students to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique mental health challenges, facilitate emotional regulation, and promote successful reintegration within the school community.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to tackle various mental health issues.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions, while also conducting group therapy to foster a supportive communal environment that encourages student interaction and growth.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to develop comprehensive treatment strategies, guaranteeing a holistic approach to mental health care.
