As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to establish clients’ mental health baseline and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Delivering psychotherapy services through various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and supportive counseling, all targeted towards easing the emotional burdens faced by clients and their families.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and chaplains, to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participating in regular peer review sessions and case consultations to enrich professional development and enhance service quality.
• Providing education and practical support to families coping with grief, mental health challenges, and transitioning to end-of-life care.
• Continuously updating your clinical knowledge by staying informed about emerging research and best practices in social work and hospice care.

This role involves providing care to a diverse array of patients, most of whom are experiencing significant psychological stress due to terminal diagnoses. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring cultural competency in your approach to therapy. Your expertise will facilitate emotional healing and adjustment, ultimately helping clients find peace and acceptance during challenging times.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in hospice, palliative care, or geriatric settings.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and solution-focused interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to establish rapport with clients and families.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven capacity to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.

• Experience working in a remote setting, utilizing digital platforms for therapy and client communication.
• Familiarity with hospice care dynamics and understanding of the emotional aspects associated with end-of-life issues.
• Demonstrated skills in managing complex cases involving grief and loss.
