• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans that reflect their personal goals and challenges.
• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness practices.
• Collaborate consistently with case managers and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that each client receives a holistic approach to their mental health treatment.
• Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and empathy, using de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions to provide immediate and effective support.
• Engage in community outreach to promote mental health education and awareness programs, working to destigmatize mental illness and improve community health outcomes.

You will be working with a varied client base, including individuals from different age groups, socioeconomic backgrounds, and cultural identities. Your work will directly impact individuals struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. By providing culturally competent care, you will help enhance the overall well-being of your clients while expanding your own clinical skills through exposure to diverse perspectives.

• Possession of an independent and valid license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Cultural competence and a commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills, ensuring meticulous documentation and timely completion of case notes.

• Experience in a community health setting or similar environment, working with populations that may face barriers to accessing mental health care.
• Skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution, with practical experience in handling complex cases requiring immediate attention.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms, including experience providing remote therapy sessions to clients effectively.
