Working in our outpatient office, the Registered Dietitian will engage collaboratively in a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Conduct thorough nutrition assessments, including diet history and biochemical data interpretation, to develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s medical histories and individual goals.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling, featuring topics such as healthy eating habits and effective management of diabetes, while ensuring patients and their families feel supported and informed.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans based on evolving health conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Execute nutrition-focused physical examinations, leveraging clinical judgment and expertise to assess and enhance patient outcomes.
• Engage actively in team meetings, promoting dialogue and cooperation with physicians and other staff to refine treatment plans and collaborate on complex nutrition cases.
• Document detailed records of patient interactions and care plans in compliance with our clinic’s operational standards and healthcare regulations.
• Stay well-informed about advancements in nutrition therapy practices and integrate updated protocols and research findings into patient care strategies.

This role focuses primarily on managing patients with diabetes and related conditions, providing specialized nutrition services including blood glucose management and lifestyle modifications. You will support individuals looking to improve their metabolic health and overall vitality, employing strategies such as carbohydrate counting and insulin therapy guidance tailored to their personal conditions and dietary preferences.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
• In-depth knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy, particularly in the context of chronic disease management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.

• Experience in outpatient care settings, particularly in diabetes education or specialized medical nutrition therapy.
• Familiarity with the use of electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
• Competence in providing nutrition counseling for varied clientele, including those with food allergies and gastrointestinal disorders.

For this position, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
