Work Environment

Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate psychological well-being and inform treatment strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and diagnoses of each patient.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to provide high-quality interventions.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional support, personal growth, and the enhancement of coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of patient care are considered, leading to holistic treatment outcomes.
  • Provide immediate assistance and crisis intervention for patients dealing with mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, exploring treatment options and community resources available for their care.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage in case conferences and team meetings to foster a collaborative environment that promotes professional knowledge exchange.
  • Stay informed about advancements in mental health practices, regulations, and therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be serving come from diverse backgrounds and present with a variety of mental health challenges. We focus on providing personalized care that addresses the specific needs and situations of each individual, thereby fostering longer-term recovery and personal development.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment practices and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills with the capacity to support patients in high-stress scenarios.
  • Ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, with strong computer skills.
  • A passion for collaborative work while adhering to professional boundaries and ethical conduct.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
  • Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic approaches.
  • A demonstrated history of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
