• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address the individual needs of clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment plans using our secure electronic health record system.
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and addiction specialists.
• Continuously update clinical knowledge through professional development, attending relevant workshops, and adhering to industry best practices.

Our detox center serves a diverse population of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, often accompanied by co-occurring mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be directly involved in implementing therapeutic strategies that cater to the unique challenges faced by these clients, helping them to develop coping mechanisms and resilience as they navigate the recovery process.

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Virginia is required.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment or mental health setting is highly desirable.
