Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, utilizing your education and experience to gain a deep understanding of each patientโ€™s needs.
  • Collaborate with patients to devise tailored treatment plans that encompass evidence-based behavioral therapies such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adapting treatment strategies as needed to address their evolving requirements.
  • Engage in interprofessional collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to enhance the overall effectiveness of care delivery.
  • Assist in managing psychotropic medication adherence and addressing any side effects, ensuring that patients receive optimal treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical work will primarily focus on individuals in the detox phase of recovery, targeting those dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. You will serve a diverse population that includes adults from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges and strengths. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Oregon.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an independently licensed therapist, with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is highly desirable.
