• Conduct thorough assessments with clients to identify their mental health concerns and personal goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, drawing from the latest evidence-based methodologies in counseling.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques that promote engagement, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities.
• Maintain an empathetic and encouraging demeanor during each therapy session, creating a safe space for clients to express themselves.
• Keep up-to-date with mental health trends and best practices to enhance client outcomes and contribute to professional discussions.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, referring clients to additional services when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions and professional development opportunities to refine skills and expand your counseling toolkit.

Your work at Life Compass Counseling Center will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. • A Master’s degree in counseling or a related mental health field is required.
• Valid and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.

• Proficiency in customizing treatment approaches to address the specific needs of each client.

Life Compass Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
