• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and financial needs of students and families.
• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions to address issues such as adjustment challenges, grief, and coping strategies.
• Work collaboratively with school personnel and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for students.
• Coordinate with external community organizations to ensure continuity of care through post-discharge services.
• Develop educational resources and conduct workshops for students and families about mental health topics and available support services.
• Document all case notes, treatment plans, and interventions in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Provide crisis intervention to students experiencing acute distress and connect them with appropriate resources.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the fields of social work and mental health.

This role emphasizes a student-centric approach, catering to the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents within the school system. You will work with diverse populations, taking into account various backgrounds, and addressing issues ranging from mental health disorders to family dynamics. By focusing on the psychosocial challenges that students face, you will help create a more supportive school environment conducive to learning and growth.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program required.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundation in mental health practices, with expertise in crisis intervention and treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with children, families, and educational staff.

• Two or more years of experience working in a healthcare or school setting.
• Familiarity with school systems, resources, and student needs, particularly in dealing with mental health issues prevalent among adolescents.
• Knowledge of community services and resources available to assist families post-discharge.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, determined by experience and expertise.
