Datawiz seeks Cybersecurity Engineer - Zero Trust / RMF / SIEM for mid-August 2026 start.
Location: This is a local remote position in the metropolitan Washington DC area. There will be occasion when you are asked to perform some work onsite or to meet with other team members.
Mission
Your role will be enterprise cybersecurity engineering across Zero Trust, identity-centric access, least privilege, continuous monitoring, threat detection, secure configuration, hardening, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments.
Education: Expertise matters. There is no degree requirement.
Core Responsibilities
  • Implement security controls and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Support vulnerability management + IR (incidence response).
  • Own monitoring and compliance posture.

Experience: At least five years of experience in the below.
Required Expertise
  • NIST SP 800-53 control implementation.
  • Zero Trust (SP 800-207).
  • SIEM + logging + monitoring.
  • IR + Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Desired Expertise
  • AWS/Azure cloud security.
  • CISSP / CISM certification.
