• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to determine clients' needs and strengths.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are specific to their goals, backgrounds, and cultural considerations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy, effectively adapting these methods for both individual sessions and group settings.
• Provide crisis intervention, utilizing de-escalation techniques and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support clients in acute distress.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, enhancing their understanding and empowering them with coping strategies for effective management.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team, comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Conduct outcome assessments to gauge the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to improve client progress.
• Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into therapeutic practices.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, ensuring a professional and respectful therapeutic environment.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• Capability to work independently while also effectively collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a varied client base, promoting trust and openness in the therapeutic relationship.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing trauma-informed care principles.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual therapeutic methods is advantageous.

• The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and geographical location.
