Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a full-time remote position supporting clients throughout Virginia. This role centers on providing structured telehealth therapy to people working through relationship concerns, family stress, emotional distress, adjustment issues, and communication challenges.

As the LMFT, you will meet clients where they are, help them make sense of what is happening in their relationships and daily lives, and guide them through realistic treatment goals. The position involves direct client care, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and ongoing support through secure virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote therapy services through a secure telehealth platform
  • Meet with clients for individual, couple, and family therapy sessions
  • Evaluate client concerns and determine appropriate treatment direction
  • Create goal-focused treatment plans based on clinical presentation and family systems principles
  • Assist clients with communication, conflict management, boundaries, stress, and relationship repair
  • Track progress across sessions and revise treatment goals when needed
  • Complete progress notes and clinical records according to professional standards
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow all telehealth care requirements
  • Use sound clinical judgment when identifying risk, referral needs, or higher levels of care

Requirements

  • Active LMFT license in Virginia
  • Master's degree or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
  • Experience providing therapy in outpatient, private practice, community health, or telehealth settings
  • Ability to support clients with relational, emotional, and behavioral health concerns
  • Familiarity with family systems theory and clinical treatment planning
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Strong written documentation skills
