The Research Contract Specialist will report directly to the Director of Clinical Research Management and will have a functional reporting relationship to the Office of Legal Affairs. The Research Contract Specialist will facilitate the timely review and execution of research-related contractual agreements on behalf of Prisma Health.Prisma Health currently supports remote work from select states.

Essential Functions

Reviews and edits research related agreementsin accordance withpolicy and relevant law, regulation, and accreditation requirements.
Works with research staff and research sponsor staff to communicate edits, negotiate and execute agreementsin a timely manner. Responds toresearchstaff contract inquiries.
Uses contract management system and other project management software to track all contract activity and report on metrics
Meets with internal, institution stakeholders (Legal Affairs, Information Technology,Purchasing, etc.) to review specialized contract issues and receivedirectionon new regulatory requirements.
Coordinates and communicates with the Office of Research Support Services teams to receivedirectionon contract priorities, changes in policy, and other issues.
Reviews clinical research documents to ensure consistency of terms
Performs other duties as assigned,
