Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying strengths and areas of concern to inform treatment planning.

  • Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for exploration and healing.
  • Monitor and document client progress rigorously, utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies to assess the effectiveness of treatment and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing psychological distress to promote stabilization and safety.
  • Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with ethical standards of practice.
  • Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care across various service providers, integrating feedback and expertise from all involved.
  • Stay abreast of current trends in mental health treatment, participating in ongoing education to continually enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in regular supervision and case review meetings to promote professional development and optimize client care outcomes.
  • Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice set by relevant licensing boards to ensure high-quality therapeutic services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Aurora Bliss, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. Your role will specifically focus on delivering compassionate care that acknowledges the cultural backgrounds and unique experiences of each client, fostering a therapeutic alliance that enables effective change.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Washington is mandatory.
  • Possess strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills demonstrated through previous experience.
