This role will be onsite at our Minneapolis, MN office (or in Dallas (TX), or Columbus (OH))

Summary:
As a Lead Full-stack Engineer you will work on Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) enterprise Fraud software applications - specifically Actimize ActOne with experience in AML-CTR, AML-STAR-INFRA, AML-STAR-FINCEN-SAR, AML-CDD, UDM.Must be an expert in developing applications and services using Java Springboot/Springbatch. Must have expertise in API Development. Should have demonstrated technical leadership in previously held positions.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Software development - code, test, debug, document and maintain Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) enterprise Fraud applications.
  • Devise and modify procedures to solve complex application problems considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
  • Provide technical leadership in the analysis and review of existing or proposed system features and integration, security, scalability and performance requirements.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection process for application packages, and advise on options, risk, cost/benefits and impacts on business processes.
  • Develop integration plans to apply knowledge of software architecture and ensure the incorporation of plans into the integration testing process.
  • Provide expert advice on complex system design issues and contribute to ongoing planning and development of system enhancements.
  • Identify and specify technical and functional requirements, resources and processes for complex sub-systems or major system modification required to meet user requirements.
  • Create prototype designs for complex and significant-risk projects.
  • Serve as third level support for ongoing maintenance and production issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Actimize experience
  • 5+ years of related experience working as a full-stack developer. Java Development experience preferred - Springboot/Springbatch, Maven and/or ANT, JPA/Hibernate, REACT and/or Angular JS
  • 5+ years of API and Microservices development experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Actimize - ActOne Customization using ActOne Designer, Plugin implementation, ETL development using AIS (Actimize Modeler), Application installation/upgrade, ActOne 6.5/6.6 to ActOne X conversion experience preferred, M&A conversion experience to convert data from an external app to Actimize Microsoft Office experience
  • Professional experience working with API and Microservices development experience - REST API/JSON/Swagger, APIGEE Edge/X, FUSE, Kafka, PubSub or equivalent, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Preferred professional experience working with relational databases such as; SQL development (including writing optimized SQL queries, Stored procedures) using Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must have worked in Agile/Scrum teams and must be familiar with the Agile/Scrum way of working
  • Experience in Deploying applications on Cloud - Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk to evaluate the health of mission critical production applications and to identify root causes for performance and functional issues.
  • Expertise in using ADO/GitHub Repositories and Jenkins to deploy application builds and configurations
  • Develop Custom batch processes using Zena
  • Powershell/Bash scripting
  • Strong Analytical and Troubleshooting skills - must be an excellent problem solver and very good at decision making
  • Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership
  • Must be able to mentor/coach junior developers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them

Compensation Range:

$70,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
