• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health backgrounds, emotional states, and available support systems.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy, to address the unique emotional needs of clients in hospice care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans focused on alleviating distress and enhancing quality of life, including specific goals and tailored interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure continuity of care and holistic treatment for our clients.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans as needed, especially in acute situations.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and conduct psychoeducational classes that provide support and education to both clients and their families.
• Document all patient interactions and therapeutic interventions in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure accuracy and accountability.

The primary clientele for this role includes individuals in hospice care, facing end-of-life issues and the accompanying emotional struggles. You will work with clients and their families to address feelings of grief, anxiety, and emotional turmoil associated with serious illness, helping to create a sense of peace and acceptance during a difficult time. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is necessary.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on hospice or palliative care.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for empathetic listening and thorough assessment.

• Experience in hospice or palliative care is highly preferred, as well as familiarity with the unique emotional and psychological needs of patients in these settings.
• Background in facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational programs for families dealing with loss and grief is advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus.
