Our mission is to improve access to quality, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare for everyone, every day. We achieve this ambitious goal with a highly skilled and diverse team in the field of behavioral health, dedicated to empowering clients toward healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, facilitating a flexible working arrangement that allows you to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. As part of a telehealth facility, you will rely on modern electronic communications and medical record systems to interact with clients and conduct assessments. • Maintain consistent communication with supervisors, team members, and the clientโ€™s support network (family members, guardians, etc.) regarding treatment progress and client needs.
  • Develop a tentative scheduling plan for client appointments, ensuring efficient time management and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Perform follow-up assessments through virtual home visits and therapeutic sessions to monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Ensure proper implementation of treatment plans by utilizing evidence-based approaches and techniques specific to client needs.
  • Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights on client care and collaborate with peers for comprehensive treatment strategies.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes accurately to track client developments and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide necessary training and guidance to colleagues on the effective implementation of treatment plans, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and community mental health resources, facilitating access to additional support services as needed.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and procedures to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your counseling practice will span various populations, including adults and youth experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Whether addressing issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship difficulties, your expertise will be critical in fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages healing and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a counseling setting, highlighting your ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • A proven track record of working effectively with clients from varied backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Capable of applying legal and ethical standards to clinical practice, ensuring the protection of client rights and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients, fostering effective therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.
  • Experience participating in or leading team-based treatment planning and delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition to competitive pay, we offer benefits such as:

  • Flexible work hours allow you to customize your schedule to fit personal and professional needs.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options to support your health and well-being.
  • Liability and malpractice coverage, providing peace of mind as you deliver care.
