Job Summary
The Regional Production Services Manager will assist Pinnacle Live's venue operations teams with the pre-planning, logistics, resource allocation, accounting, and onsite management of large-scale productions. As a member of Pinnacle Live's Production Services department, the Regional Production Services Manager may also be tasked with filling show operator positions.
Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with Venue Sales, Venue Operations, Rigging Services, and Power Services to plan and execute high-level production in accordance with Pinnacle Live's production standards.
  • Serve as the remote point of contact for project planning and on-site point of contact for production site visits and event execution as requested by venue staff.
  • Identify and train Event Services Technicians and Senior Event Services Technicians so that they may serve as competent show operators on production-level events.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with labor brokers and subrental vendors to maintain Pinnacle Live's access to partners that can assist with production-level event execution.
  • Create detailed production schedules and define cadence of deliverables for each project as requested by Venue Operations.
  • Assist Venue Operations in obtaining quotes from qualified sub-rental vendors, as necessary.
  • Prepare and implement project budgets including pre-event estimates and post-event actuals.
  • Create and edit orders for internal charges related to Production Services resources.
  • Function as production subject matter expert, consult venues to choose appropriate equipment and staffing levels with a focus on utilizing in-house resources when possible.
  • Translate client requests into holistic production visions and identify opportunities to capture additional revenue in the sales process.
  • Generate CAD files as needed for projects to demonstrate the accurate scale of production elements including, but not limited to, staging, lighting, projection, audio, and cable pathing.
  • Calculate power consumption of production components to ensure adequate power, coordinating with the Power Services department as necessary to engage additional resources.
  • Assist with Rigging Services requests on production-level events.
  • Manage in-house, third-party, and/or union laborers to set, operate, and strike large productions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with industry standard project management software (Monday.com, Asana, etc.)

Education & Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in related field or industry experience equivalent
  • Three (3) years' project management experience, preferred.
  • Ability to interpret floor plans and three-dimensional drawings.
  • Vectorworks proficiency preferred.

Work Schedule
Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended business hours and weekends will be required.
Travel Demands
Up to 60% travel required.
