• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the frequency, intensity, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic interventions, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on emerging insights and changes in client circumstances.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment methodologies in the field of mental health to refine therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in professional growth activities, including case consultations and team collaborations, to enhance treatment quality.
• Advocate for clients' needs and help combat mental health stigma within the community.

You will primarily support individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This role may also involve working with vulnerable populations including refugees, the homeless, and survivors of domestic abuse, providing them with compassionate care tailored to their specific circumstances. Your therapeutic approach will focus on empowering clients through evidence-based practices and genuine empathy, fostering meaningful change in their lives.

• Current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado.
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to help foster trust and rapport with clients.
• A nonjudgmental, empathetic attitude, contributing to a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload.

• Previous experience working with mood disorders is highly desirable and will support a smooth transition into this role.
• Experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to remote care methodologies.
• Potential familiarity with various treatment modalities and an eagerness to learn continues to evolve in therapeutic practice.

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
