Overview

Our client, a privately held media organization with publications across the Midwest, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee production workflows, vendor relationships, and operational logistics for its Chicago office. This role ensures the smooth execution of print production, distribution, and back-office functions supporting the company's regional business publication.

This position is well suited for an organized, process-driven leader who enjoys translating operational complexity into reliable execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end print production schedules and printer relationships
  • Oversee distribution logistics, mailing operations, and circulation processes
  • Supervise office operations, facilities, and administrative support functions
  • Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and operational budgets
  • Partner with editorial and sales teams to ensure deadline adherence
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
