We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive with experience selling IT services in the Public Sector to join our team in Toronto, ON (remotely).

Sales Executive – Ontario (Greater Toronto Area)

Provincial Government • Health Authorities • Crown Agencies • Municipalities

The Sales Executive – Ontario (Greater Toronto Area) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing large-scale IT services opportunities across key Ontario public-sector organizations, including the Ontario Public Service (OPS), Ontario Health, provincial agencies and crown entities, and major municipalities within the GTA and broader Ontario market. This strategic sales role requires deep knowledge of Ontario public-sector procurement processes, established government and healthcare relationships, and the ability to engage senior public-sector executives to position NTT DATA as a trusted transformation partner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on expanding NTT DATA’s presence within Ontario’s public sector, including health authorities, provincial ministries, agencies, crowns, and large municipal organizations.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities aligned to NTT DATA’s capabilities, including digital modernization, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, data and AI, digital government, EMR/EHR integration, and managed services.
  • Build and manage senior client relationships, conduct stakeholder mapping, and drive pre-RFP influence to ensure NTT DATA is well-positioned for upcoming procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Client Executives, Delivery Executives, and Service Portfolio Leaders to develop tailored and competitive solution offerings.
  • Manage complex deal cycles and negotiate multi-year, large-scale public-sector contracts.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and ensure disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Represent NTT DATA at key Ontario public-sector events, associations, and industry forums to support brand visibility and market penetration.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of IT services/solutions sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on Ontario provincial public-sector organizations (health agencies, ministries, agencies, crowns, municipalities).
  • 5+ years of experience closing complex, high-value public-sector contracts with $5M+ TCV.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience and understanding of Ontario public-sector procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, VORs, standing offers, shared services, and centralized procurement models.
  • 5+ years of experience selling solutions across digital modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, analytics/AI, and managed services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established network across Ontario’s public-sector ecosystem, including OPS ministries, Ontario Health, agencies, and major municipalities (e.g., Toronto and GTA).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas in complex public-sector environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $144,000 to $193,499. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for the Company’s comprehensive benefits program in Canada, including customizable health and dental coverage with telemedicine, wellness credits, and gym discounts.
