Employer Industry: Engineering Services Why Consider this Job Opportunity: Salary up to $150,000 annually Eligibility for discretionary cash bonuses based on team and individual performance Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans with company contributions Opportunities for professional development through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing educational support Flexible work arrangements, with options for hybrid or fully remote work Collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diverse perspectives What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Lead the analysis and execution of power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and harmonic studies Manage projects by defining scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets while ensuring milestones are met Mentor and coach less-experienced staff to support their growth and development Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate across disciplines to align technical approaches Prepare and communicate technical reports and study results to client representatives What is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in power system studies and project management Professional Engineer (PE) license Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and PSCAD Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) 15+ years of experience in consulting engineering, electric utility, or industrial settings Knowledge of substation or collection system design and renewable energy projects Experience with NERC standards and requirements Familiarity with additional software such as MathCAD and GE Enervista Ability to perform lightning or switching overvoltage studies using PSCAD We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
