Blissful Retreat Psychotherapy Services is in search of a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist who is dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally competent care. This position supports both individual and community wellness through psychotherapy in an outpatient setting, focusing on personalized mental health treatment for diverse populations.

Located in the heart of Rockville, Maryland, Blissful Retreat Psychotherapy Services is a multicultural outpatient psychiatry practice committed to providing inclusive mental health services. This role is performed in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining a structured schedule. Typically, our therapists operate from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Our outpatient office fosters a collaborative approach to therapy, where professionals routinely consult with one another to enhance patient care. This supportive environment encourages sharing of best practices and experiences, ensuring all team members grow together.

• Conduct detailed and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to capture patients' unique experiences.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that align with the diverse needs of patients and promote resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services in moments of mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and appropriate support.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment possibilities, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journeys.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, while also ensuring integration with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team strategy meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to continually enhance team effectiveness.
• Stay updated on current research and practices, remaining informed on cultural considerations in mental health therapy.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to apply culturally responsive, evidence-based treatment methods.
• Experience in providing therapy in culturally nuanced ways, addressing both individual and group needs.
• Ability to manage crises effectively while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and an ability to integrate technology into therapeutic practices.
• A commitment to professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality.
• Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and solve complex patient needs.

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and a track record of implementing innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention or emergency mental health settings, bolstering your ability to act decisively in challenging situations.
• Proficiency in a second language is a plus and can enhance your ability to connect with more patients.

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
