Blissful Retreat Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Work Environment

Our remote work setting supports flexibility while maintaining a commitment to excellent patient care. Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, your schedule may require some adjustment to meet the needs of your clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive cultural assessments to better understand the unique experiences of each client and develop individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect the cultural backgrounds of clients while addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions that encourage healing and growth, tailoring your approach to facilitate effective communication and understanding.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in emergency situations, continually assessing risk to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring that client information remains confidential yet accessible as needed.
  • Engage proactively in case discussions, team meetings, and cultural competency training, promoting a learning culture within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LCPC, LCMFT, LMFT, or LCSW-C within the state of Maryland.
  • A strong foundation in understanding mental health disorders and a commitment to maintaining cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, employing inclusive techniques that resonate with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Excellent crisis intervention capabilities and the skill to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a wide range of individuals.
